Zoom Mobile Skips encourages people to recycle.

These tips are designed to help you remove unwanted goods at little or no expense to you.

Paint and Liquids

Liquids can’t go in the skip, so use kitty litter to soak up all liquids. Then the kitty litter can go in the skip.

Gas Bottles

These can be explosive if placed in the skip. Zoom skips will collect them separately at no extra cost. (Max of three per person)

Vehicle Batteries

Scrap metal companies usually pay you for the lead in old car batteries. Caution should be used while transporting them, as they have acid in them.

Computers, Monitors, Printers, Photo Copiers and TVs

These are classified as e waste in South Australia as at September 2014. You can contact your local council and find out where you can take them, free of charge or at a small cost.

Liquid Fuels and Oil

Kitty litter can absorb these products and then be placed in the skip.

Acids, Poisons and Alkaline Products

These can be taken to The Zero Waste SA Household Hazardous Waste Collection Depot located at the corner of Magazine Road and Henschke Street Dry Creek. It is open the first Tuesday of every month from 9am to 12 noon, at no cost to you.
